Sharing
Sharing turns your live rundown into a read-only page other people can open on their own phones. They don't need an account and can't edit anything — they just follow along, and the page updates itself every few seconds. Open the Share panel in Show Clock to publish.
Publishing a share is a licensed feature — you need a Show Clock license or beta access to create a share link. Viewing a link you were sent needs nothing.
What the audience sees
- A Run-of-show page: the full running order with live, offset-aware times, a “now playing” row, and any rider links you allowed.
- A Clock tab they can open for the big countdown / clock.
- Cue banners you push, and your offset applied to every time.
You control what's exposed per share: the live clock, the rider attachments and slot notes can each be turned on or off.
The three ways to share

Live link (?s=)
The one you almost always want: short, QR-friendly, and it reflects your offsets, cues and slot changes in near-real-time. Behind the scenes the viewer's page quietly re-checks the server every few seconds and redraws.
Snapshot link (?c=)
This carries the whole rundown inside the URL itself, so it opens with no server involved — but it's a photograph, not a live feed. If you change the show after sending it, the snapshot won't update. Show Clock also falls back to a snapshot automatically if it can't reach the server when you hit Share.
QR codes
Generated from whichever link you choose. Very large snapshots can't fit in a scannable code — if the link is too long, Show Clock tells you to copy it instead.
Attachments (riders, PDFs, images)
You can attach a file — a tech rider, input list, stage plot, or artwork — to a slot, and optionally expose it to people on the share link.
- Allowed files: PDF, PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF. (Scripts, SVG and HTML are rejected for safety.)
- Where they live: uploaded files are hosted privately on the platform and opened via a private link — riders open on any of your devices, and for viewers only if you turned riders on for that share.
- Limits: individual files are capped (about 10 MB each), with an overall cap per share and per account, so there's a sensible ceiling.
- Cleanup: deleting an attachment or a share removes the underlying file; orphaned files are swept automatically.
Riders you attach to your own account (rather than to a specific share) travel with you and open on any device you're signed in on, without publishing them to the audience.
If you open your own share link while still signed in as the operator, the page may show the operator screen and the audience view at once. To preview cleanly, use the built-in Operator / Viewer toggle, or open the link in a private/incognito tab. See Multiple devices & accounts.
