Register your equipment

The Equipment view is where a scan becomes a plan. Until Spektra RF knows what you are carrying, it can only tell you what is busy — not whether your mics are in trouble.

Add a device

1. Click Add and choose a device from the library. It has entries for Shure (ULXD, QLXD, SLXD, BLX, including the G50 / H50 / J50A bands), Sennheiser (EW G4 / G5, IEM, 6000), Lectrosonics, Sony, and channel-wheel budget systems. Pick the group and channel as printed on the pack, and Spektra RF resolves it to the exact MHz.
2. Give each entry a name you would use on a headset: "Vocal 1", "IEM Drums".
3. Your equipment appears as markers on the spectrum and in the My equipment card in Live view.

If your system is not in the library, or you already know the frequency, enter the MHz directly.

Sort the list by name, type, device or frequency by clicking the column header. Drag rows to reorder.

Clashes and intermod

Once your gear is registered, the spectrum colours mean something specific: a clash with a signal in the room, or with another of your own frequencies, is flagged on the device itself.

Spektra RF also computes 2-tone and 3-tone IM3 products from everything you have registered and draws them on the spectrum. That shows you where your own transmitters would land on each other — the failure mode that a clean-looking scan will not warn you about, because the interference does not exist until your packs are switched on.

Save lists and keep a history

Use Save / Load to store an equipment list under a name, one per venue or per act. When you load a list it becomes the active one; editing your working equipment then shows a modified badge and enables Update.

Every list keeps a History. Each version is stamped with date, device count and a diff against the one before: which devices were added, removed or moved, with the frequency change spelled out. Restore brings any version back.
